I'm probably setting myself up for hours of flaming, but I really need to get it out of my system.



Seriously, does anyone else think that Twilight is all crapsap that's been ripped off Anne Rice horromance books? It reeks desperation, I couldn't it past the first few chapters of the book. Besides, my thoughts on human-vampire relationships are hampered by my parents' repeated instruction that I should never play with my food.

So I realize I don't get to blog often due to the fact that the days worth blogging about usually involve copious amounts of alcohol, music and a (really) loose sense of consciousness. You can't really write about what you don't remember ;) However, blasted nights out on town, that's what good memories are made of!

Anyway, I went to The Vines gig last Saturday. It was awesome to say the least! The band has gone through tough times with the whole drugs issue and crappy live shows, but this show.. Man, it was put together solid! If it weren't for some genuine technical difficulties and the fact that the Metro is a tiny, un-fake-able performance venue, I might've just accused them of lip-synching. I for one, can't write a good music review because my inebriation and inert red-bull-like bloodstream drives me to dance, mosh and sing (kerplunk! epic fail!). In other words, I just totally lose it. I vaguely remember them having a bloody good rendition of the favorites, "Ride With Me", "Get Free" and "Highly Evolved" (really, shit you can't screw up if you're supposedly making a comeback!) Some new songs from the album "Melodia" weren't bad either, a bit slow sometimes, but otherwise, still The Vines for you!

Prior to the gig, we went barhopping because the lines to the Metro were too long still. Eventually we got in, and bumped into friends of a friend and had a random jolly time talking about random jolly shit. These girls were crazy, one of them accosted a photog and we ended up having our photo taken for some music website whoot! I ended up getting lollies from younger boys, and feeling quite terrible because I got one of them to drink from the tip jar... accidentally. Go figure lol. Wolf and Cub was the second band to open for the Vines, totally missed the first one, I don't even remember who they were.

Anyway, I just want to say "Oooooooooooh".

It's Friday pee-em. It's Halloween. I'm home. I don't have any impending chores or homework to do nor any ghoulish gangbang to attend. It's quiet, serene and ironically sunshine-y because of trippy Australian weather. Normally, I'd be out celebrating the event with a few dress-up parties, some glitter, glamour and claws. But lately, I haven't been in the mood to dress-up so much, nor go out. I'm either too tired, too old, or simply to damn chubbikins to fit into anything remotely interesting to pass as a Halloween outfit (I'm not just talking about the girly go-to Catwoman/Ho-bag costumes here!) The last fancy dress party I went to, I decided to be a smart-ass and dress up as a "premature ejaculation". That being said, I simply came in my pants. (Feel free to laugh at the lame joke.)

It's a Friday night. It's Halloween. And here I am having a quiet night at home. "Ooooooooooooh." This is all so new and exciting for me.... *sigh*

For the record, my desk doesn't usually look like this. I was in the middle of cleaning up some time last week and got hit with a barrage of non-room-cleaning related activity. azra_il caught me at a bad time, but I still posted it anyway! Maybe I'll put up some "after" shots.

It's a shame to have to re-begin blogging with such a mess!

Strangely enough, this is so true. At 2:11am, I'm still up doing some of the most random things on earth. I AM THE FUCKING TIME OF DAY YOUR MOTHER WARNED YOU ABOUT! Booyakasha!

I really should start writing more substantial blogs, it's just that I've been busy. I don't live my life pouring out my feelings onto people and I don't really think anyone gives a damn. Hell, I don't. So why should you?

I've got exams coming up. I haven't been updating lately because I'm always busy. Strange that when you have a lot of things to blog about, you have no time to blog.

By the way, I miss a lot of people, it's heart-wrenching... I just wanted to get that out of my system. If you're reading this, I probably miss you too.

Today I completed my collection of 100 Bullets. I feel fulfilled, but my wallet doesn't >.< Nic, thanks for the 9th volume! :p Future Sight came out too, but I'm not too interested at cards at the moment. Starcraft II caught my eye, who wants to play with me?
